VDart has once again been recognized at the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) Spirit of Alliance Awards. For the fifth time, our CEO, Sidd Ahmed, was named the MBE Advocate of the Year, highlighting our leadership in championing minority businesses and supporting the NMSDC network.
The 42nd Spirit of Alliance Awards celebrate individuals, small businesses, and corporate and government entities for their contributions to supplier diversity and minority business development in Georgia. The 2024 awards continued to uphold its tradition of recognizing excellence, with nominees and winners representing the best advocates of progressive minority supplier development in the state.
“This recognition is always very special to us,” says Sidd. “I am thrilled to see VDart’s name consistently recognized at the GMSDC Spirit of Alliance Awards. I am deeply grateful to my team for believing in our mission and driving our vision forward. Our collaboration with GMSDC reflects our shared commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment, making moments like this possible.”
The MBE Advocate of the Year Award honors certified minority businesses whose contributions have long-lasting, positive impacts on minority business development. Awardees are recognized for their active participation with the GMSDC and their efforts to educate, influence, and advocate for the MBE community at various levels. They exemplify leadership, collaboration, and innovation, demonstrating a sustained commitment to advancing the MBE community.
Notably, Sidd was honored with the MBE Advocate of the Year Award for consecutive years from 2017 to 2020. Last year, he received The Eagle Award, while VDart was named Supplier of the Year Class IV.
It’s truly an honor to see VDart among such esteemed organizations. We are proud that we create long-lasting, positive impacts, year after year, inspiring change and driving progress in contributions to minority business development.
