Joining VDart felt like stepping into a world full of opportunities. From day one, I knew this was a place where I could grow.
The work is fast-paced, and I’ve had the chance to collaborate with amazing teams across the globe. I’ve been constantly learning new processes and facing new challenges, which has been both exciting and rewarding.
Over time, I’ve realized that the team spirit here is what really sets us apart. Everyone supports each other, and it feels like we’re working towards a bigger goal together.

From India to India—a connection that made her VDart experience unforgettable.
One of my most unforgettable moments happened during a payroll project. I was assisting a candidate with her timesheets, and after a long conversation, I asked for her name. She replied, ‘India,’ and without thinking, I assumed she was talking about her location.
I got all excited and said, ‘I’m from India too!’ She smiled, and we continued the conversation, bonding over this ‘connection.’
It wasn’t until the end of the call that I realized ‘India’ was her name, not her location! It’s become an instant classic in my team—we still laugh about it today.

I’ve learned that precision and clarity are key, especially in global finance. When I approach a task, I make sure that every detail is right. But at the same time, I like to keep things simple. If a process is clear to me, it becomes easier to communicate it to others. It helps the team work more smoothly together. I also believe in staying calm, even when deadlines are tight—that’s when having a supportive team makes all the difference.
Every project we complete feels like a shared victory. Recently, our team celebrated a huge milestone, and it was such a proud moment for all of us. Sharing those successes brings you closer. We trust and rely on each other, and that makes everything more rewarding.

Fitness and glass painting: Harshini’s life outside the numbers.
Balance is really important to me. Fitness, especially badminton, keeps me energized and clear-minded. It’s my way of staying focused throughout the day. Then there’s glass painting, which is a bit of a creative escape for me. It’s slow, requires patience, and seeing the final result is always fulfilling. And of course, family time helps me recharge—it’s my peaceful corner of the world.
“Carving your own path is important,” says Harshini. Want to know why?
The best advice I’ve ever received is: ‘Nobody is built like you; you design yourself.’ It’s a reminder that everyone’s journey is unique. When we compare ourselves to others, it takes away from our own growth.
I believe in focusing on what makes me strong and continuing to learn every day. That’s how I’ve grown, and it’s how I’ll continue shaping my own path.
Harshini’s Road Behind and Road Ahead: What has she gained along the way?
The trust I’ve earned at VDart has been the most rewarding part of my journey. It’s led to opportunities I never imagined, such as being selected for the IIM Leadership Initiative in 2023.
That was an incredible experience. It was a turning point for me, as it completely transformed my view on leadership. I learned that leadership isn’t just about managing tasks—it’s about empowering others, listening, and making informed decisions. I feel like it’s given me the tools to step confidently into bigger roles, and I’m excited for the challenges ahead.
And I know there’s still so much room to grow. With the support of my team, I’m ready for whatever comes next!
