A Costly Mistake: Curious? Explore Dino’s Learning Experience
From the moment I joined VDart, I knew I had found my place. The values, the Credos, and the inspiration from Sidd made me feel like I truly belonged. But my journey has been far from smooth. I’m incredibly grateful to Sidd for the valuable lessons learned through my mistakes.
From the start, I’ve faced my share of challenges, with one of the most difficult being an issue with one of our largest clients.
We placed a candidate who, as it turned out, was fake, leading to a major escalation and a significant loss for the entire quarter. I knew I had made a serious error, but instead of retreating, I came to the office the very next day, confident in Sidd’s guidance.
Despite the severity of the situation, Sidd, with his characteristic empathy, addressed the issue with a simple yet profound message: “It’s your costly mistake. Learn from this.”
This incident taught me the importance of complete transparency—no cover-ups, just learning from mistakes and moving forward.

I’ve had the chance to work with some really amazing teams over the years. Each one had its own unique vibe and strengths. I learned a lot from their leaders, like Devna—she doesn’t just manage from behind a desk; she’s on the ground, working with the entire team, knowing every member inside and out, and expertly handling clients.
When I started building my own team, I wanted to create a place where everyone felt like their ideas mattered. I’m all about letting people be themselves and not forcing them into a mold.
My chill personality helps me stay calm even when things get hectic. Plus, at VDart, we encourage everyone to think outside the box and come up with new ideas. It’s something I really believe in.

I’ve been fortunate to receive several accolades throughout my journey, including Protégé of the Year and Star Performer in 2015. In 2020, I was honored with the MVP award.
One of my proudest moments was being handpicked as a mentee in VDart’s PROPEL Leadership Mentoring Program, where I had the privilege of learning directly from top executives, including the CEO and CHRO.
To me, these achievements are not just personal milestones but a result of all the collective efforts of my teams. Together, we’ve tackled complex challenges, such as developing effective strategies for supplier consolidation, which has been key to our success.

A Peek Into Dino’s Passions and How They Fuel His Creativity
Music is a huge passion of mine. I’ve been involved in bands and musical programs for years. In 2011, I made it to the Top 20 in a singing competition called Supersinger.
Music is my creative outlet; it helps me recharge and brings balance to my life.
