VDart Digital is assisting clients with CCPA compliance needs for a large healthcare company. The challenge faced is that customer wanted to have a system in place that supported any regulatory customer privacy law.
The California Consumer Privacy Act introduces new challenges when handling personal data and raises the baseline across the U.S. The CCPA is a major update to privacy law in the state of California that gives new rights to Californian consumers which is defined as any permanent resident of the state, to know what personal data is being collected about them, access it, request its deletion, and opt out of having their personal data collected.
VDart digital solutions is assisting clients with CCPA compliance needs for a large healthcare company. The challenge faced is that customer wanted to have a system in place that supported any regulatory customer privacy law.
The system should have been integrated with partners, affiliates systems in supporting privacy laws. System should have been an Interface or a Portal to check number of requests that came through, status of each request, which partner system is yet to complete the fulfilment of request and finally perform the processing for failed requests, as lack of an integrated system to support CCPA requests and follow through.
Our team of business process experts at VDart Digital solutions provided IT solutions which possesses great strength in business process management and compliance across different industries. The team conducted a thorough review of current data flow and mapped all the data stores both internally and externally with partner/affiliate network.
The team developed a system to assimilate all the sources of data that could be accessed through an intuitive UI/Portal for customers to be able to track their data, submit request to clean / delete data and track the closure of request.
As a result a globally scalable system was implemented to accommodate quick integration of partners/affiliates across geographies and help comply with many such Global Privacy Laws.
