About Hackathon
VDart has been modeled around the strength of innovation and transformation. Even the most basic ideas have the potential to ignite something massive. VDart sees this competition as a means of assisting you in getting your creative ideas to the right people at the right time. We aim to develop, guide and aid your ideas in reaching their full potential.
- To register you must be a current student or Alumni enrolled in a fulltime undergraduate degree and part of the CSE branch. You must register before participation.
- Post Registration there will be a Screening Quiz. If shortlisted, Vdart will provide you with a problem statement for which you will have 24 hours to build a solution.
- Your submission should include a Video Presentation of your solution as well as the source code on GitHub.

Rules of Hackathon 2021!
- Each participant is required to share a 300 words synopsis in the first 2 hours of the competition along with a list of software and hardware tools that are intended to be used during development.
- Participants are allowed to code only once the competition starts in the repository provided by the organizers.
- Participants can ask for advice and support from organizers.
- Participants can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects. Working on a project before the event and open-sourcing it for the sole purpose of using the code during the event is against the spirit of the rules and is not allowed.
- Participants are required to share their repository, 3 minute video presentation along with minimal documentation (2-3 pages).
- All advice, open-source code and libraries used during development should be documented and shared at the time of submission.
- Participants can be disqualified from the competition at the organizers’ discretion. Reasons might include but are not limited to breaking the Competition Rules, behaving in a way that violates the code of conduct or other unsporting behaviour.
